Donald Trump schemes to get Elon Musk on his side

Republican candidate considers offering Tesla CEO advisory role

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is reportedly considering giving Tesla owner Elon Musk a White House advisory role to get the second richest man in the world on his side, the Telegraph reported.

According to a Wall Street Journal report, the two have discussed potential ways for Musk to influence key policy issues, including border security and the economy.

In March, during an event held at the Palm Beach mansion of billionaire businessman Nelson Petz, Musk and Trump connected and discussed the possibilities. Trump’s youngest child, Barron, was also present, as was Musk’s son X.

The journal has also reported that Musk is working with Peltz to convince elite business leaders to reject Democratic candidate Joe Biden.

They are reportedly also working on a data-driven project to combat voter fraud.

According to reports, the two talk over the phone a few times a month, discussing anything from immigration to the US Space Force.

Additionally, it has been claimed that Musk has encouraged Trump to resume posting on his social media network, X.

News of the potential appointment comes as Trump compared himself to Mother Teresa as the jury began deliberations in his historic hush money trial.
