Tuesday, Jennifer Lopez made an appearance on social media to give fans a peek into her return to rehearsals in anticipation of her redesigned tour.

The 54-year-old mother of two, who spent the weekend celebrating Mother’s Day, showed off her toned abs in three pictures that she posted from a dance class.

In the trio of photos, a female choreographer appeared with the seasoned performer.

Jennifer wore faded green lounge trousers that were low cut and baggy, and a cropped white T-shirt with short sleeves.

She posted a caption on Instagram that read, “#JLOLIVE Rehearsals Day 1 @LiveNation,” to her 252 million followers.

Insiders told DailyMail.com last month that Lopez was the subject of crisis negotiations regarding her impending tour, with organizers prepared to cancel due to low ticket sales in order to spare her from humiliation. However, the singer and her manager declined.

In promotion of her eighth studio album, This is Me… Now, she will embark on a tour of North America this summer.

However, weeks before the tour officially begins, she is having trouble selling tickets, as official seat charts on Ticketmaster show that blocks of seats are still available at some venues.

According to several sources, JLo was not persuaded to cancel all 30 concerts by Live Nation, the tour’s promoter, even though her longtime manager Benny Medina made the suggestion.

According to someone close to the matter, “Live Nation met with JLo’s manager Benny Medina a few weeks ago to suggest cancelling JLo’s tour, and because [he] and JLo are so adamant that the show must go on, it’s going on.”

The theme of Lopez’s most recent album, This Is Me.. Now, which revolves around her relationship with Ben Affleck 20 years after their breakup, was encouraged by Medina.

Variety claims that Medina, who started JLo’s career in 1999, said the actor, “Let me put you in touch with some writers who can help you transcribe this,” since she felt that her love story with him needed to be told.
