Trump says yes to Biden’s invitation to spar with him in June and September.

President Biden offered to debate former President Trump on television in June and September, and the former president accepted.

The Biden-Harris team sent a letter outlining the plan on Wednesday morning to the Commission on Presidential Debates, which is bipartisan.

It broke with the discussion commission’s long-standing practice of holding three fall meetings.

As far as debaters go, “Crooked Joe Biden is the worst I have ever faced—he can’t put two sentences together,” Trump said to Fox News Digital. “Crooked is also the worst president in the history of the United States, by far.”

Donald Trump told Fox News Digital that “it is time for a debate to take place—even if it has to be held through the offices of the Commission on Presidential Debates, which are totally controlled by Democrats and who, as people remember, got caught cheating with me with debate sound levels.”

“I’m all set to go,” declared Trump. “The times they suggested work well. Anywhere is acceptable. At any moment. Any location. Joe might be able to reach the stand-up podium, let’s see.

"I am completely in favor of the June and early September dates that have been proposed," Trump stated to Fox News Digital. "I will provide my own transportation."

The Biden-Harris team suggested that the first debate take place in late June, following Biden's return from meeting with foreign leaders at the G7 Summit, and after Trump's criminal trial in New York is probably finished, according to a letter acquired by Fox News Digital. Before early voting started in September, there would be one more presidential discussion. The campaign suggested holding a vice presidential debate in late July following the Republican vice presidential nominee announcement.
