Prince William headed to Singapore, still ‘angry’ at Prince Harry’s Netflix deal

Prince William is set to visit Singapore in November for the annual Earthshot Prize, while still being “angry” at Prince Harry for his lucrative Netflix deal.

Kensington Palace announced on Tuesday that five recipients of the Earthshot Prize will receive £1 million (S$1.67 million) for their efforts to find solutions to environmental issues.

At the award ceremony on November 7, activists, legislators, and inventors will be present alongside Prince William, the eldest son of King Charles and the heir apparent to the throne.

Over the course of a four-day trip, he is anticipated to attend a number of events with entrepreneurs and investors together with the finalists and winners.

“His Royal Highness will spend time meeting Singaporeans and learn about how local organisations are working to protect and restore our planet – from tackling the illegal wildlife trade and protecting the rainforest to incubating and scaling cutting edge innovations,” Kensington Palace said.

Prince Williams visit plans come amidst his anger at Prince Harry for the multi-million dollar deal his younger brother and sister-in-law Meghan Markle struck with Netflix.

As part of the deal, the very controversial Harry & Meghan docuseries was produced and premiered in December 2022.

In their eagerly awaited documentary series, the Sussexes delivered a number of shocking revelations. The actress from Suits even faced criticism for what appeared to be a mockery of the late Queen Elizabeth II while recalling the occasion when she was requested to bow to her.

“William is angry about a lot of things in connection with Harry,” a source said, who is supposed to be a pal of Prince William, as per Daily Beast.

“His decision to work with Netflix, who have ruthlessly exploited the family, is certainly one of them,” the source added, in addition to the late Princess Diana appearing as a ghost in the sixth and final season of The Crown being a reason.
