Kate Middleton avoids making Princess Diana’s ‘costly’ mistake

Kate Middleton’s approach toward publicizing her life makes her an asset for the Royal Family.

A Reddit user recently expressed that the Princess of Wales doesn’t “sensationalise” her life, something that has been done by the late Princess Diana as well as Meghan Markle.

Instead, the mom of three follows into the footsteps of the late Queen Elizabeth II when it comes to staying in the headlines for professional reasons rather than personal ones.

They originally set out to weigh in on Kate’s commoner status and how it would impact the monarchy after she and Prince William ultimately take over.

“I think the idea that her being a former commoner puts her at a disadvantage is absurd. The perils of arranged dynastic marriages in the modern world were exposed with William’s parents,” the user wrote in response to a query posing skepticism over her prospective approach as future Queen.

“Catherine is clearly in the tradition of Elizabeth II. She has resisted attempts to sensationalise her life unlike Diana and Meghan,” they continued. “She is running a marathon not a sprint.”

“She is clearly very popular and if the royal family were to lose her they would be in serious trouble,” the Redditor added.
