Blueface is no stranger to controversy, and he has once again landed himself in trouble for making derogatory remarks about Indians and Native Americans alike.
In a new interview clip shared by No Jumper on Wednesday (October 18), the Los Angeles rapper was asked about a recent video of him and internet personality Sneako encouraging Indian American gamer N3ON to say the n-word, which he did.
Regarding whether or not it’s alright for Indians to say the word, he replied: “I think Indians are n-ggas, for real. Who the fuck like Indians? And there’s a phrase called ‘Indian giver,’ that means you give somebody something—”
At this point, host Adam22 stopped him to point out the derogatory term is in fact about Native Americans, which is a distinction the 26-year-old failed to grasp.
“Yeah, but they’re Indians right,” he proceeded anyway. “If I give you something and I take it back when I feel, like, entitled to it, that sounds like some n-gga shit. That sound like some Black people shit — some shit a n-gga would do.”
Elsewhere in the chat, he said: “There’s plenty of things that n-ggas know about themselves that they will feel publicly offended by … but they know.”
A lot of people flooded the video’s comments section to criticize Blueface for his comments, with many calling him out for his ignorant viewpoint.
“Very offensive! Doesn’t understand any culture,” one Instagram user said about the video, reflecting the general sentiment of the comments section. In the same spirit, another person added: “Bro ignorant af.”
Not allowing a single dull day to slide by on his watch, Blueface recently made a salacious claim about one of his rap peers, claiming Megan Thee Stallion once performed oral sex on him. The “Thotiana” rapper’s bombshell revelation came during an interview with Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason Lee, a portion of which was shared on social media earlier this week.
“I’ve already been there and done that,” he said about his mother saying that she wanted him to have a baby with the Houston Hottie.
After continuing to play coy, the California native eventually said: “I might have got some head… a long time ago.”
He then suggested that he and Megan hooked up roughly five years ago, around the time they both appeared on XXL’s 2019 Freshmen cover and attended industry events such as the BET Awards.
“Jason, I’ve been in the game for a long time,” he explained. “XXL Freshmen, five years ago. BET Awards, five years ago. I did all of the stuff already […] I don’t say too much, but if asked, I’m gonna give you nothing but the truth.”
Blueface’s girlfriend, who was sitting next to him during the interview and looked visibly upset, said: “No, I don’t [know about that]. Don’t include me in that.”
